Correct me if Im wrong, but couldnt the OP file a fee waiver due to the financial burden if paid for in full?

I would think so britlady70 people do file and request a fee waiver. I would get all the forms together to adjust status here. DO NOT leave the US okay. And I still believe in Miracles (see my display pic) someone will come forward and help watch.

My dad was a preacher, so I can understand that it can be difficult to find employment in certain areas. Small time pastors are nothing like what we see on tv eh? ;-)

My suggestion would be to go completely out of his field and start over, but even I know that sounds difficult to impossible - especially if that is his only skillset. That is of course if you simply want to just sort out your own status in the states first.

I can't stress enough how complex having him immigrate to the UK will be, so I wish you best of luck, if you decide to return home. Enduring a long separation will be difficult. Because only he will be able to visit you, as you will be under a ban and cannot enter the US, and there is sadly no guarantee that they will just turn him away at the UK border. They do that, unfortunately.

Nich-Nick, do you know if this case could fall under DACA for the kids, in some way? Even still I expect financials would be needed.

@ boiler I guess reformed baptists are poorer people than the other denominational preachers. Because no one we know meets the required sallary for a co sponsor or would be prepared to take on that responsibility. We actually want to live in the UK and would prefer it to here, we just do not want to be split up for years. I wish I had a crystal ball to know if I can easily find good work back home quicky enough, but we do own our own home here and could sell for the savings required to go to the UK, if the house will sell, the market is slow right now. Could take a long time. Kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. Also thanks for all the advice guys but I have no idea what all the abreviations are for, I know you are all probably experts in all this, but some of us lesser mortals needs things in simpler terms please! :-)

But it’s not allowed for either Form I-130 (the form you would need to submit in order to petition for your spouse) nor, in certain situations, for Form I-485 (the form USC/Beneficiary would have to fill out to adjust status). Specifically, fee waivers for Form I-485 are not accepted by USCIS if filed by an applicant who must prove that he or she is not likely to become a public charge – which is exactly what beneficiary would have to prove.

wow it sounds eaiser to stay in america and get legal here and pray for the rest of how later to move........peace and joy to you all.......I bet the Lord will give you all someone who will sponsor ,,,,my pastor was thinking of it........it hard to say.......on it.......but I know its much more peaceful to fix ..the problem then be banned from husband for 10 years. blessing to you............i dont know much ,,just how it looks is all.
