k1 visa IMPORTANT question (please tell me your opinion)

She lied on her last B application about her ties that contradict that she was in a relationship with the OP.

Normally the sitution I have seen is where someone claims to be married on a B application and then states single on an immigrant application.

I don't think so, it won't hurt you .The best course of action will be not to hide any thing because they already read about her immigration history. and to be on safe side try to visit her before her interview. you will be all right.

thanks a lot I just wished the processing time was faster or there was more information on the USCIS website when you place you case number in. The only thing I have seen since I received our first NOA is the date they received our case.

I know what you said, but now I think of it is there such a question? From memory and it has been a while they ask about marital status but not who you are living with?

its not me im the USC.. she (my fiance) put mutually together (not married) with her friend, but couldnt get the visa.

it depends on country where you do your application. after circling that answer it gives you blank area to put the information of mutually together person.

The truth will set you free.,.,.,K-1 is a totally different thing than a tourist visa, as to get a tourist visa, your "ties" to your country MUST be exceptionally strong, to even be considered.

I think if you visit her before interview date then she can add your travel itinerary and passport stamp as a fresh evidence of your relation. its just an optional thing but can help your case alot.

I think the point the OP is trying to ask about is that him and his fiancee have been in a relationship for 4 years, but on an application in the past 4 years (while her and the USC were together), she stated mutually together with someone else to try to prove stronger ties to her country.

Not trying to scare to OP, but...

Couldn't that be considered a material fact and in turn, misrepresentation? Which would require a waiver? Or would it not be considered a material fact because it held no bearing on the visa decision?
