This family may not be able to re-open their store from all the hate generated from a false media report regarding their Christian faith.

The business owners are pretty stupid imo. Imposing their personal beliefs on their customers in the age of social media just encourages people to ridicule them on a grand scale. They might as well just flush their business down the toilet.

I agree. As someone who has waited a long time for DOMA to fall to be allowed the option of marriage to a USC, I think it stinks that this is allowed on a immigration forum. What next? A GoFundMe for the KKK?

These so-called religious freedom bills are just hate bills in their essence, so it's really not surprising they are having some unintended consequences. However, a small family owned business becoming collateral damage is really negligible in the big scheme of things. The important thing is that the Christian majority is happy and can sleep much better now knowing they will not be forced to act like Christians towards those they hate.

Sure, it's an extreme comparison but both hatred of people of colour and gay/lesbian people usually stems from the same religious group of people.
