That's horrid, Soloenta. What a terrible, horrible person. Karma will catch up with them, don't worry.

I agree and since I think there is someone wanting to cause drama here I'm just dropping this it isn't worth it. If someone wants to make fun of us so be it as you say it will get back to them in the end. I leave it in God's hands. (L)

It's easy for people with weak minds to feel superior to someone who has had bad stuff happen to them. They use it as a crutch to forget how unfulfilled they are. My advice is to pay them no mind and to continue as you have been before - you can't let someone like that hold you back.

Your right and I'll do just as you and others have said I need to let it fall off like rain off a Ducks back. And who knows whats real or not on the net, so lets just move on. :) Hey at least it made the weekend interesting. :D(L)

OMG who would be such a mean person to our sweet loving Soloenta???? If we could, you know we would shut them up and teach them some respectslapping.gif (virtually)...no worries dear friend, obviously they are in a lot of pain and are just lashing out somehow, unfortunately they found you as the victim. I would wish the admins could block this person somehow....

Soloenta...all i can say is haters gonna hate...picgifs-haters-gonna-hate-6171713.gifand whoever that is will get their punishment in some form or another...karma's a b*tch...

Hahahaa thank you for the laugh you are so sweet, what would I do without you. Your all right move upward and onward and let God do this thing he does it best. Phewwwwwwwwwww ok I feel better and things will continues as was. :D(L)

Happy Easter to everyone who celebrates it and happy cheap candy day (tomorrow) to anyone who doesn't. My thoughts are with you.

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.
2011: Realized we needed to evaluate our status as friends when we realized we were talking about raising children together.

2011/2012: Decided we were a couple sometime in, but no possibility of being together due to being same sex couple.

June 26, 2013: DOMA overturned. American married couples ALL have the same federal rights at last! We can be a family!

June-September, 2013: Discussion about being together begins.

November 13, 2013: Meet in person to see if this could work. It's perfect. We plan to elope to Boston, MA.

March 13, 2014 Married!

May 9, 2014: Petition mailed to USCIS

May 12, 2014: NOA1.
October 27, 2014: NOA2. (5 months, 2 weeks, 1 day after NOA1)
October 31, 2014: USCIS ships file to NVC (five days after NOA2) Happy Halloween for us!

November 18, 2014: NVC receives our case (22 days after NOA2)

December 17, 2014: NVC generates case number (50 days after NOA2)

December 19, 2014: Receive AOS bill, DS-261. Submit DS-261 (52 days after NOA2)

December 20, 2014: Pay AOS Fee

January 7, 2015: Receive, pay IV Fee

January 10, 2015: Complete DS-260

January 11, 2015: Send AOS package and Civil Documents
March 23, 2015: Case Complete at NVC. (70 days from when they received docs to CC)

May 6, 2015: Interview at Montréal APPROVED!

May 11, 2015: Visa in hand! One year less one day from NOA1.

NVC Don't give time frames for petitions that will be returned back to embassies!!!! :ranting::protest::ranting::protest: They said they can't even tell me what month they are currently processing. That is why I am so called in "AP!!!!!"

I said, you give processing times for everyone else. She said, "yes, but this is a special unit." I said so there is NOTHING you can do at all to find out? The supervisor said she can reach out to that unit and see if she can get some information, but no guarantee!!!!! She will have to call me back once she has a response from them. :ranting::ranting: :ranting: :ranting::crying::crying:

Just wanted to come back and see how everyone's doing and also share some good news. We finally got our CC at NVC on 3/31. Just like Not a Tailor, we missed the window for May interviews it looks like, but we're certainly hoping for an early June! Who knows, maybe we'll get the same interview date. :)

While I know it's possible to be happy for other's good news, I know it just totally sucks at the same time because a lot of you are going through things I probably can't even wrap my head around. I just want you to know that I think of you all the time and truly hope that things will start moving for you guys. I really do love you all. I don't know what I would do without this group on VJ.

Congrats!!!! so happy for you two!

I know it's a long and extremely frustrating journey, but it will be worth it in the end.

From what I've noticed it seems to be approx 7 - 8 weeks from CC confirmation to Interview if you are going to Montreal.

I'm heading to BC this week for my medical, going to make a mini vacation out of it and see some old friends and family.

The supervisor said she can reach out to that unit and see if she can get some information, but no guarantee!!!!! She will have to call me back once she has a response from them.

And the torture continues, this is just down right criminal. Something seriously needs to be done and NOW about this it's not fair at all to have to go through this on top of everything else. All I can do right now is pray this supervisor helps you but I don't trust she will call you back, I would give her no more than a week then call. OMG I'm so furious right now this is just OMG horrible! ((((((((((Janelle)))))))))) (L)

Congratulations to you and so happy to know your at the last stage of this nightmare. (L)
