We are waiting with baited breath for our VISA to come. Yesterday she got a package delivered, but it is not what we thought it would look like & she is afraid to open it, because they tell you not to open it, if it is the real VISA. But if it is - where's the Passport?

If I use : passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com & put in passport #, I get "It is still with post".

If I use: http://supplychain.2go.com.ph/index.asp& put in the UID, I get nothing

If I use: http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-passportretrieve.asp#trackingoptions& put in passport #, I get

Passport Status :

Your passport is still with the US Embassy/Consulate

So what does my fiance' have that they delivered?post-187584-0-63729800-1427406005_thumb.jpgpost-187584-0-52894700-1427406006_thumb.jpg

That is bizarre.. Based on the 2GO tracking info, it appears likely that my fiancee's visa package will be ready for pickup today at the Butuan 2GO office. Now I am wondering if she'll get the same type of package y'all got. I'll post an update when she gets it.

Please post any info you get if and when you call the embassy.

For K-1, only the UID number from the interview confirmation page works for tracking with 2go etrace.

That looks different. I have heard some people receiving a packet from the embassy but very rare that it happens. That could be it. No harm opening it as long as its addressed to her.

When tracking at 2GO's website, try using the MNL case number. That worked for me.

I have tried all three, or combos of 2 numbers - nothing.

I don't know - it is too early for my fiance' to be up. She was afraid to void the VISA if she opened it

You can open the plastic package to get the passport out. I made a cut at the very top/edge of the plastic. What you cannot open is the yellow envelope that contains the documents (although it has a slit that reveals the documents, don't panic, that's the way it is).

I found out it is not even from 2GO, but did come from the Embassy. Do you think they are returning stuff they no longer need for the actual VISA?

I will have her open it when she gets up.

Most likely. That's why it has to be opened. Lol.

Ahhhhhhhhh! It is the letter that rarely arrives....... The welcome letter telling you to start your visa application process. So few ever get that letter. It will have a copy of the I-129f and a welcome letter directing you to their website for the instructions letter.

If the packages arrived too early for it to be the passport/visa packet, I'm betting P5 that the white envelope is NOA2 and the plastic envelope contains "Packet 3".

Plastic packet looks like it's DHL? Does DHL do 2Go's provincial delivery or as I theorized, does it just contain"Packet 3"?

"Ad Astra Per Aspera"

"Audentes Fortuna Adiuvat"
