Haven't heard anything from transfers, but from the March 2015 thread it seems another VJ member was routed to CSC when they should have been routed to TSC... from Virginia this time: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/539166-march-2015-k-1-filers/?p=7544586

I wonder if they will transfer existing cases at all, or just start routing new cases to CSC instead. If so, that's a little frustrating for us TSC filers who filed right before this change was made!

It looks like the one you're referring to was a Philippines case. Aren't they usually routed to CSC for expedited processing?

As far as I know, Philippines cases get routed the same as all other cases. I don't know if CSC still expedites them since they process everything so fast anyway, but there definitely have been recent cases of Filipino expedites at TSC. So, no, I don't think Philippines automatically get routed to California.

I don't know if I'm being overly hopeful but from the wording and the instructions it sounds like they will do a transfer of old applications.

When asking about your case status, tell us your original receipt number and also say that your case was transferred to a new location.

I don't want to be overly pessimistic in return, but that wording may refer to the I-130 cases that are currently being transferred from Vermont to California (the first part of the notice). I hope that isn't the case, though, and that they will transfer old I-129F applications as well...

If that is true the person who made that decision is the dumbest person on earth. There is no way that just rerouting new cases will help the back log. If that's all they are doing it could actually slow it down...why work faster when there are not going to be new petitions added to the pile.

I'm hoping there are no transfers yet because they are still processing them so the notices haven't gone out yet but I'm definitely not holding my breath that anything is going to change. I'm happy for all of those who do get transfered but I think its time I prepare myself for the long wait ahead of me.

No updates, case status changes or the like for me. Now we'll have to wait until next week for news. Happy for anyone who escapes TSC, but very frustrated today too...
