Visa Grant...It's been over a month now since I requested for my case transfer from Doha to New Delhi. I checked with the Contact center for the Embassy..they said the case is already in Delhi. However, I still haven't received my updated interview letter or any info on the interview date. They keep telling me to mark an email requesting an interview date ASAP. But, I'm afraid there's lack of proper support from their side. My wife and I are really stressed because of this unnecessary delay. Any suggestions plz ???

Hi Friends,

Finally...I got my medicals done and my biometrics...my final interview at the US Embassy is scheduled on June 03, 2015.

I have all documents. However, I have a question...My wife spent 5 months in 2013 and 2 months in 2014 with me in Doha and India respectively, because of which her net income fell just short of the required minimum. My wife stays with her Grandparents in the same house & we now have her grandpa as the co-sponsor (I-864A...if u know what I mean) who's income is alright. So, is everything under control on that part..??? That's all I want to know...

Appreciate your response plz.

Regards,

Umii

Yes.. provided grandpa's "income is alright" is at least the required minimum for the household size.
