Hi guys!

I have a question, just wondering....

Is the process to get K1 visa and then applying for green card longer then to marry while I am here under my J1 visa and then to apply for green card?

Would that work somehow?

The thing is, I am here in US for my internship, I got my J1 visa for one year, I got it so me and my boyfriend could be together, find out how our relationship would work out. It has been awesome year but my visa is going to expire soon ( end of May).

We sent the i-129F in end of January and now we are waiting for approval.

What concerns me is the fact, I would have to wait too long im my country without any job. ( it is pretty hard to quickly find normal job back there)

So what would be faster? wait for that K1 or get married right now and with me staying here.
