I've been in contact with my senators and so far ie heard back from one. Thom Tillis's office called today and they told me a few things:

1. TSC is currently processing petitions from October 8, which contradicts the data on VJ. (But she offhandedly said they could jump to January petitions quickly.)

2. The expected maximum processing time for fiance visas is supposedly six months, whereas I had thought this was five months. She also told me she recalls when it was only four months, but that's it's been significantly slower lately.

3. She said she'll keep checking on our case status every thirty days and they can pull it once we reach six months after filing. However, six months is only two to four weeks faster than the current VJ estimates, so I'm not even sure if by then it'll be worth it, if we haven't been touched.

What she didn't tell me is what caused the delay or what TSC is doing to remediate and prevent them, which is ultimately what I had written them for--because I had hoped the extra pressure would push some accountability, but it doesn't seem to have had the desired effect.

Basing on the Igor's list, seems like march is far behind and not moving. April and may filers are catching up on last years filers.

You can ignore all data from March 25 onward on Igor's list. All of them are really CSC and they skew TSC Data. Interesting that they are still routing 129F to CSC.

Even more interesting is that the impact of moving all petitions to CSC has only increased their processing time from 27 to 43 days over the last 3 months since the shift.

I am seeing some increase in the processing speed at TSC, but I am sure it will slow as the Government elves who work there will all likely take 2 week vacations over the 4th of July.

Hang in there, Good Luck to all

I have gone back and forth with watching and waiting for these processing times to get better. It's hard to deal with frustration of seeing the cases at csc done so quickly and having to be stuck for so long with tsc. It's important to keep in mind that even though this is a long time to wait the light is at the end of the tunnel and it's coming up soon. Some feb cases are getting approved now and those are not expedited. Looks like the range is 180 to 140 days for approval so who knows.

With this immigration thing I think it's all about time and luck.

All good points, my friends.

One thing Nancy (from Tillis's office) told me, while I was asking about the backlog and mentioned how fast California processes petitions, is that it's possible the backlog was caused because another service center slowed down and cases were transferred to TSC. If only I had known the rate differential for CSC since March to throw back at her... *sigh*

So we keep waiting. Status quo upheld. :(

I wish that California would go and take some of the back logged cases instead of the cases that are just now being submitted. I want to be excited for the people going through CSC but it's frustrating with the difference in processing times. I missed the transfer to California by about a week.

Yes agreed, we all hurt over the decision

It's like all of us in March are the "bottom of the bottle".

It will be interesting to see how the Government reacts when they have cleared the last of March people. Will they continue to route via CSC? Would be an interesting case study why one place is able to handle 2X the load and only change the processing time by about 50%, not 100-200%.

First time poster here.

My Partner and I filed in mid February and are still waiting. It's especially difficult to visit because he lives in Turkey making see each other that much harder. I just saw that somebody posted that they had gotten their NOA2 after filing in January at TSC. Let's hope this means good things are coming soon.

I keep hearing about Immifairy.com and the daily reports they send out. Is it worth it? I was thinking about doing it I couldn't find a sample report anywhere.

I've submitted a case to my Senator (John Cornyn) asking for assistance with my case and am waiting to hear back.

Thanks for all the encouragement and support! I'm glad I found this thread. :)

Glad you found it, too! The support of this forum (not just this thread, but all VJ) has been a tremendous help for me, and I know many others.

The sad part about being stuck at TSC is that there are so few updates, not much conversations tends to happen regularly.

I'll be able to visit my fiance in about a week. It's been six months since we saw each other last. How long has it been for all of you?

I'm planning to visit him for a week in September to hopefully celebrate getting our NOA2. He was here in early June for my sister's wedding. We tried 6 months one time and it was just too long so we've gone back to shorter but more frequent visits. Saying bye at the airport is really really old.

I contacted my congressman already and they were not helpful. I'm more hopeful my senator can actually look into my case since they asked me to fill out a privacy release form with my information in it. If you do contact them maybe it will raise awareness for the next person that has to deal with the hell that is the TSC. :diablo:

For us it wasn't an option, since we had to plan around my school as well as money issues. Hopefully I'll be back one more time for the consular interview and then he'll be moving up here. With all luck, it'll happen before New Years.

I was optimistic about that, too, but so far my representatives have been very dismissive. I'm waiting to hear back from Senator Burr's office (I sent in the privacy release a couple weeks ago), but last week I did hear back from Senator Tillis's office. She told me we had to wait until the six month mark before they could do anything, but then they'll be able to pull it. We'll see what happens as time goes on.
