in the online portal, did it show "completed" and turn to "incomplete"? There was a "glitch" in the system when I was doing mine a few months back and there's also a glitch that Saylin mentions that if you click on it, it goes back to incomplete all over again. Call NVC and have them review it. Tell them your problem. My IV fee had to be manually released due to the glitch in their system.

I paid AOS fees on February 24th.

March 18th, they were finally able to review the DS-261 over the phone.Prior to that they were not yet able to make edits to the case file.

Hopefully they have fixed whatever issue they were having and the process is quicker for you

My wife and I received a confirmation of receipt of the DS-261 by email. Does this mean that the DS-261 has been reviewed or that they'll review it sometime later?

I assumed the former (as my wife and I have both since received emails confirming AOS fee processed, suggesting that they must have reviewed the DS-261 in order to have both our email addresses) and was rather hoping that we were only a few days from receiving the IV fee invoice.

They will review the form over the phone, once they are able to edit the files. They can not edit the file if the file is still in processing (adding the initial information from uscis).

Call them twice a week (Wednesday / Friday). Be polite and if you can cheer them up, phone work sucks.

A very rude lady said it would be 42 days once. In the end it was 22 days, and apparently they were having some computer issues.

Be patient, it will come.

I'm waiting and i've sent the DS-261 3 days before you. Would you recommend me to call and ask for it?

I received the letter that they've received all the documents and telling me to wait as much 60 days,

but i didn't paid the IV Fee. There's a chance to pay on the embassy of Spain?

You wont have a case complete unless you pay the IV fee

It sounds as though you have submitted the AOS and IV supporting documents already. The 60 day time frame is typically what you will hear from the phone representative in regards to those packets.

Call them. They will veryify who you are, and then they will usually give you a brief summary of what events have happened (" we received your files on date xx/xx/2015"). Once they finish they will ask what they can do for you, say this exactly:

"I was hoping that you would be able to review the DS 261 over the phone today."

This is a "soft" way of asking for something. You are not making a demand, yet you are gently reminding them that they can, if possible, review the DS 261 over the phone.

If they can, they typically will. If they can not, they will say something like "I am sorry the file is currently locked." If the file is locked, that usually means it is the process of adding information to the file (perhaps your AOS and IV packet information). Once that is done the file will unlock and the phone representative will be able to review the DS 261 over the phone.

I hope this helps.

I am confuse by your timeline your dates are wrong it show you paid AOS 3-28-15 but today is only 3-20 -15

but anyway you should have enough time to pay the iv fees before your documents are review
