If you live in Oregon - automatic voter registration

Be careful if you live in Oregon, because the state is going to automatically register everyone who is of voting age. They are using DMV records going back to 2013... theoretically, of course, they should only register people who have indicated that they are US citizens, but mistakes happen. So every now and then, you might want to check to see if you've been registered and make sure you de-register before you take your citizenship interview.

Again, the article says that only citizens will be registered, but it's better to be extra safe and check your voter registration status after this takes effect.
