Fortunately for the shot officers the responsible gun owner/shooter wasn't aiming at them. Again proving the theorem 'more guns, less crime.'

Shots were fired from this car . .. Police standing in the background . .. Officers just happen to step in front of the bullets....Bloomberg wants to ban black gun ownership for certain groups . you must agree....

If more citizens were armed, criminals would think twice about attacking them, Detroit Police Chief James Craig

Florida currently has more concealed-carry permit holders than any other state, with 1,269,021 issued as of May 14, 2014

The liberal elite ... know that the people simply cannot be trusted; that they are incapable of just and fair self-government; that left to their own devices, their society will be racist, sexist, homophobic, and inequitable -- and the liberal elite know how to fix things. They are going to help us live the good and just life, even if they have to lie to us and force us to do it. And they detest those who stand in their way."

The president, as Great Divider, has pronounced the Ferguson Police department policies as "oppressive and objectionable", while saying there's "no excuse" for violence.

I guess he thinks this is pandering to the race-baiters while assuaging the victims of race-baiters: playing to both sides.

When this president got elected I was somewhat hopeful that he had a historic opportunity to do some good for race relations in the US. But in retrospect what it proved is how far we have come as a people. He's personally been a let-down in a number of respects, rejecting his Martin Luther King opportunity in favor of race-baiting, but almost anything is an improvement over the worst president of all time that came before him.

Black males refuse to wear seat belts more than the average population .

well that explains everything.

now how do you expect obama to improve race relations when black males won't even put on their seatbelts?

Are they not? So... him telling the truth is a problem? How do you expect for him to improve race relations if he can't talk about them?

MLK is dead. I think he should be a little more cautious than MLK was.

the report comes out showing issues in ferguson (althought they're not problems unique to ferguson) and what happens? derp! the report is bogus. apparently, obama and holder are not only great race dividers, they also moonlight at the ferguson police department.

Here is the biggest issue in Ferguson. Speaking of the truth. It's a lot easier however t blame whitey

The Shocking Finding From the DOJ's Ferguson Report That Nobody Has Noticed

That may seem like hyperbole, but it is a literal fact. In Ferguson -- a city with a population of 21,000 -- 16,000 people have outstanding arrest warrants, meaning that they are currently actively wanted by the police. In other words, if you were to take four people at random, the Ferguson police would consider three of them fugitives.

The libs are just going to blame that fact on racism.

Like here in NYC, the way they are handling the fact that blacks and other minorities commit more crimes than whites, is to decriminalize crime. For example, it is no longer a crime to possess pot. People are even pushing for laws to decriminalize turnstile jumping on the subway! Yeah, that's the solution. Make crimes no longer illegal, so not too many minorities are ensnared in the criminal justice system. Why not just wipe out all laws? It is easier than punishing the guilty after the race card is played over and over.

The foxes are running the hen house. Crazy.

what in the world do you think i'm screaming about here all day in and out??? there is absolutely NO REASON for 16,000 people in a city of 21,000 to have outstanding arrest warrants. none. this isn't a problem with the people of ferguson. jeez. HELLO.

please tell me why tax payers should have to pay to put someone through the criminal justice system and possible room and board in jail for jumping a turnstile? for having a plant in their possession that holds less ability to harm than alcohol? yes, changing the laws is the solution. why do you want to pay to keep people in cages over nothing? violent crime, that's what jail should be for.

Prison corporations can't flourish in such climate? They're people, too, you know?

Several years ago the US decided to take the "high road" when it comes to human rights abuses. So, instead of whacking of hands and fingers for stealing, putting folks in stocks at the city square, and the like, we now keep criminals in air conditioned clean quarters, with TV, internet, and books. The prisons alone are way expensive, not to mention the upkeep in manning and training. And for what? If we let them out too early, the chances are good they will re-offend:
