Does age difference creates problem in interview and what proofs are needed except given below?

My husband is 10 years younger than me (35-25) and i am a LPR. I filed i-130 for my husband and on 18th March he is having interview on Us Embassy Nepal. Our relationship is true. We have many proofs to proove it.

1) Court Marriage certificate

2) Marriage Photos and Video with my mother, friends and relatives.

3) Western union money transfer history from dec 2010 to july 2013.

4) Call records.

5) My husbands insurance policy where i am Beneficiary

6) Love letters shared on 2010 and some letters of 2013 and 2014

7) Postal Receipts.

8) Touring photos to different parts of Nepal.

And some others.....

Are these enough to proove the relationship? Please help me.

How often have you met? The best thing you can do to increase your chances of approval is spend time together.

I've read a lot of K1 filers here on VJ with larger age gaps get approved. Yours shouldn't be any different given the proofs that you have.

Also, they wouldn't care about your videos because hard drives, discs, usb devices are not permitted inside the embassy. Just bring photos. If you're going to put them in a photo album, bring those small notebook-sized ones.

I've seen some 20 to 30 year age gap marriages get approved on VJ board,

but those were mostly older man and much younger woman.

There was also 10+ years older woman getting approved as well.

That said, I do think the much older woman couple will get more scrutiny

than the other way around.

How acceptable is it in Nepal for 25 year old man to marry a 35 year old woman?

How are both sides of the families supporting the marriage?

I think as long as you have sufficient supporting evidence,

you guys should be OK...though he may get grilled during the interview.

should not be a prob ...you are still at child bearing age, just have

all your proofs ready

We were in long distance relationship from almost 5 years. We used to know eachother when i was there in Nepal. Shared gifts letters ets on Nepal. Later when married when we met. We have letter shared on 2010 and western union receipt frm 2010 aswell. So that is our proof of old relationship. As for family his mother and his some friends came in our marriage ceremony as it wasnt possible to take my every member to Nepal. But my sister is Sponcer to bring him here. We have lots of màrriage photos and touring photos from different parts of NEPAL.

Never asked about the age difference. I took with me evidence of on going relationship (the date after our file was submitted to the date of the interview. The interview took 5-10mins only. Don't worry. Just reminder basic fact about your fiancé. And always say the truth
