hi all,

to everybody. looking forward in reading in this forum. obviouslyly i am here and very anxious to find out. how this all works with immigration.
i feel a bit lost, since once before i was in the same situation but its been a while since.
there are several questions i have and appreciate every answer/opinion/help i get.
so just for say here is my story.
in 1992 i recieved and approved the gc by my ex husband,
in 2000 i went back to germany since we were getting divorced and at the time my father got bad sick with one of several strokes,
so i wanted to be with him. when i left to germany i didnt really think anything else about the gc responsibilitys aso.,
hence i dint know i had those responsibilitys.
so i stayed in germany.
in 2006 i went to the uk and started working there ,
hence at the time there werent many jobs in germany.
In .2011 i started a seasonal job and i met my now husband online,
and we talked just about everyday, in november my contract ran out but with beeing able to apply for my seasonal job again come the next opening,
which was in feb. 2012 . well end of november i decided to go visit my now husband in the us.
i got the vwp, booked my 2way flight and on 12/02/2011 i arrived in the us. it was awesome, i couldnt believe that we have so much in common,
well i knew somewhat after talking for hours and hours, but reality just confirmed it..
on 02/24/2012 spontanously we tied the knot, it was funny,
cause we went to pay a bill at the courthouse, standing at the desk i had the urge to use the restroom, anyways when i came out,
my husband said we are done down here,lets go upstairs, and i am thinking whats upstairs ? nevertheless we get upstairs where all the judges were .
i said what are we doing here. he got on his knees and proposed to me, repplying to him in a surprising, happy, confused and all of the above feeling i said yes. he didnt have a ring, but he said i will get one later. so we used one of my rings for the time beeing.
went in see the judge and got married. when we were done , walked out and still thinking did this really just happen, in a happy way...lol.
we didnt do anything special other than getting married, later that day we went to see some friend and told them the news ,
with all the congratulations it turned out to be a little party.
well as far as paperwork and staying here, the thought never came to mind untill we realized my vwp expired.
i have read so many different thinks about it, and found out that it cost so much.
well at the time we didnt have that kind of money, so we tried to start saving.
it was and still is tough, my husband was working but transitioning into having his own company.
so now 3 years later we still havent filed for the gc.we cant effort a lawyer.
i am worried that i have to leave no be able to come back and /or be able to apply for it and get approved , after all the horror storys i have read.
i have so many questions and dont know where to start.

1992- approved gc
2000 - moved back to germany ( abandoned gc )
2012 - married to a us citizen on a vwp before expiration ( again )

- will we have problems , since i had a gr before, never officially abandoned it ?
- are we able to apply for the green card since i overstayed my vwp ?
- if and when we apply for the gc, how to fill out the I-130, I-485 ? ( do i have to put in my former green card number and also my ssn )
- which forms do we need to apply for, in my case ?
- where to send the forms to ?

- where will be the interview ?
- how long ist the process ?

i am sure there will be more questions, but these hopefully get me started on this journey.
i appreciate any input i will recieve, maybe someone here had a similar expirience or situation.

June 23, 2016 - Mailed I-130, I-864w, I-485, I-765, I-131

June 24, 2016 - package delivered to Chicago Lockbox via Priority Express mail, Recieved and signed by R. Mercado ( Day 0)

June 28th, 2016 - Money-orders cashed ( Day 4)

July 4th, 2016 - NOA Received by text (x4 ) and email (x4) at 11:44 PM

case accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing ( Day 10)

July 7th, 2016 - Hardcopy Received NOA x 4 ( Day 13)

July 15th, 2016 - Received Biometrics letter, Appointment set for July 29th ( Day 21)

July 26th, 2016 - All 4 receipt numbers are working on the uscis mycase now ( Day 32)

July 28th, 2016 - Biometrics walk in Successful ! at 12:45 and was done at 01:10 (Day 34 )

Aug 5th, 2016 - Case update online ( RFIE-I-485 , Rejected form I-864w and wanted form I-864 instead ) (Day 42 ) put on hold

Aug 11th, 2016 - RFIE received in the mail

Sep 27th, 2016 - Send Response to RFIE at 9:18 a.m.

Sep 28th, 2016 - Response to RFIE Received at Lee`s Summit,MO 64002 at 9:29 a.m. signed by M. Sievers

Sep 29th, 2016 - Case Updated online to Response to RFE was received at 1:20 p.m. ( Day 0 )

Oct 14th,2016 - EAD ( I-765 ) Case updated online to" Case was Approved " and " we ordered your new card "( Day 15 )

Oct 14th,2016 - AP ( I-131 ) Case updated online to " Case was Approved " ( Day 15 )

Oct 20th,2016 - EAD Approval hardcopy received ( Day 21 )

Oct 20th,2016 - AP Approval Hardcopy received ( Day 21 )

Oct 20th,2016 - in the Mail a Notice to Applicant letter " A Completed and signed I-693 was not submitted ",Submit a valid,

completed and signed I-693 at a later date( at Interviw or if no interview you will receive a RFE for the form ) ( Day 21 )

Oct 28th,2016 - Update online " EAD card was mailed to me " ( Day 29 )

Nov. 1st, 2016 - Received Text Message and Email from MYUSPS, my EAD/AP Card will be Delivered tomorrow ( Day 33 )

Nov. 1st, 2016 - I-485 case updated online to " Interview is Scheduled " for 12/01/2016 ( Day 33 )

Nov. 1st, 2016 - EAD/AP Combo Card in hand at 6:07 PM ( Day 33 from response to RFIE Received )( Day 130 from filling for AOS )

Nov. 4th 2016 - Received Interview letter in the mail ( Day 36 )

Nov. 8th 2016 - Applied to change my name on SSN ( Day 40 )

Nov. 22nd 2016 - Verification from DHS for SSN cleared ( Day 54 )

Nov. 23rd 2016 - Applied for State ID at the BMV ( Day 55 )

Nov. 28th 2016 - Received SSC in the mail ( Day 60 )

Dec. 1st, 2016 - Greencard Approved on the Spot ( Day 160 )

Dec. 5th 2016 - Case Status for I-485 changed to "Approved" post dated Dec. 1st

Dec. 5th 2016 - Case Status for I-130 changed to " Approved" post dated Dec. 1st

Dec. 5th 2016 - Welcome letter and I-130 Approval letter in the mail , both post stamp Dec. 2nd

Dec. 6th 2016 - Case Status for I-485 updated to " Card was mailed to me"

Dec. 7th 2016 - Update on my Green Card, Text from MyUSPS " Card was Picked up", expected delivery date 12/10

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
