NOA2 Updated at USCIS website but no email or txt yet .. Why?

I randomly checked our case status on USCIS website and our case was approved by Nebraska on 6th March. However my wife checked her email and cell phone day for the email or information related to NOA2 and we had not received it yet. Do you guys have any idea why is the delay in sending email or txt??

There has always been a week or so delay in notifications from USCIS, and they have their new and improved site up and running. It was only yesterday that you saw the change of status, hang on and be patient - you will receive something soon. Congratulations and good luck on the rest of your journey! :)

As with anything in transit, digital or otherwise, sometimes things just never make it through, or even get lost. My I-130 was approved a day before yours and I'm yet to receive official confirmation. I just happened to be checking USCIS case status when I saw the approval.

A few of my SMS\texts to my wife in India never made it to her. I then read them to her over Skype. :)

Congrats.. we're on to NVC soon.

Same issue here. My case was approved on March 3rd. It appeared on USCIS website... But still No mail :( :(

Na no they don't.

So my wife works late on Tuesday . She as usual always wake me up and i do the same to her ... Opposite time.. When she sleeps i work and when i work she sleeps :P

so Wednesday morning she looked at our mail box there was our letter from uscis. I was avoiding asking her to check mail box coz that would make her impatient :) but she called at 2 am my time to tell our uscis letter was home

since then she called nvc twice to poke in and see.. We knew nothing but yea we are putting in call to nvc every week

problem is with pcc... I am hitting rock for pcc India coz its only issued for Indian national and i am nepali national living in India. I have to go through local police station who are well known for hefty bribe and i am worried to give them my original passport ... They are known for bribe and lousy handling of file.

I have mailed Delhi embassy and police chief office and ruiling party chief of Delhi to get help and advise ... Its pain in butt ;(;(

Did you try the FRRO for the PCC?

I understand foreign nationals living in India register with the FRRO, and that could be a helpful resource.

FRRO that is interesting. I don't think i every vist FRRO and got registered with them because in between India and Nepal we are free to move around

i will do research with FRRO ... And i am going to visit Nepal embassy newdelhi on Monday

Uscis has just changed my status .. It says we have send your case to Department of State for visa processing....... :) :) :) But We still have not got approval letter from uscis yet.... whats that suppose to mean ?????

You will receive your letter within a week or so after the status update on USCIS website because it takes time for USCIS normally a week or two to deliver hardcopy of approval letter so wait is the best option.
