K1 Withdrawl(What confirms it?)

Hello VJers,

We withdrew our k1 application which was awaiting a second surprise interview after we were denied during the first one. We didnt get any kind of slip then, just a letter.

We later sent a notarized letter to the embassy asking for the withdrawl as we didnt wanted to do the second interview.

The status on mumbai website says "Case sent to NVC". Do I need to send the same notarized letter(adressed to embassy) to USCIS too to inform them that we withdrew the application and thats why it was sent back to them?

I would send 3 letters. USCIS, NVC, Embassy Where your Approved Petition was sent.

You should receive a withdraw letter in about 30 days

I sent one last year. It was approved and ready for interview.

I sent 3 letter to USCIS (Same place I filed my K1), NVC and US Embassy and the USCIS, NVC letter was forward to US Embassy. I actually received a letter from Embassy saying petition was withdrew by me....

I received a letter(email) from embassy too. It just confirmed that they got our request for withdrawl. Do I still need to worry about NOID from USICS? I'll send them the notarized letter as well.

Mine letter said something like the petition was revoked upon withdraw by the Petitioner.
