Yeah but don't tell him that.

Tell me what? Jordan has a stake in this and our timid President has not? Better let the Jordanian's and the other countries in the area handle this themselves, without our help, rather than a less than enthusiastic and impotent effort to navigate this crisis by remote control.

Lol I think I got you the OP mixed up with the King. Basically why call the President timid when he is doing more than Jordan?

Why would you say that? I was taught that the commander belongs when the battle is being fought, not half a world away.

Because more Jordanian resources would be used to protect him and he wouldn't be flown into any dangerous situation. An example would be Prince Harry. I have no doubt he is well trained and if he were a regular soldier he would be great. But it probably compromised the unit he was in during his service in the Middle East.

Also there is something different between having a head of state in a battle vs a military leader.

All that's been done militarily against ISIS thus far from forces outside of Syria and Iraq are airstrikes. And when it comes to those airstrikes, the commander in chief that has borne the brunt of the weight is the US President. Our military under the command of our President has completed by far the most airstrikes against ISIS. Not bad for an impotent, timid and from behind leader, eh? What does that make the other clowns that you seem to worship so much?

Meanwhile, there's help available for the ODS. Obamacare might even cover it.

A valid observation lost on Democratic Presidents historically.

I don't see this guy needing that big an entourage. If anything, knowing from the ground that he is looking for payback just might cause more concern to those on the ground.

How many missions has Obama personally flown over IS territory?

Exactly as many as the King of Jordan. None.
