I'm glad at least one of us got to ask. Clearly, you caught him unprepared to discuss our petition. If he was truly looking at processing times on a daily basis, he would know about the issue.

An attorney in Key West is listing a lot of increases in processing times. Showing large delays for a number of petitions, but no staffing increase.

Nothing other than your question. Now he's stating that the potential DHS shutdown will have no impact upon USCIS because it's funded by fees.

Well, I didn't make the cut. No other questions about K-1 petitions. Most were about I-90 or H-4.

I was careful to mention the average number of days processing times difference explicitly too ... about 22 versus 205. FWIW.

We are at 206 days today. I called USCIS and got the usual BS. My follow-up question was going to be about the out-of-date processing times posted and why we can't get information for so many months. Didn't get that chance. However, they repeated several times that we should submit our issues to this e-mail address.

Well it was good to get the K1question in there with the attorney from Fl also hitting on response times. My take aways are that the Direcor needs to continue to hear from and about response times. I don't know what planet he is on if he things that NVC's customer service is good so that is somehting to address. I was not suprised most of the calls and callers were about DACA the employment visas it tells me that THIS community of VISA participants needs to be more vocal. I dont think he had a clue about some of these issues but I am sure he hears allll the time from skilled workers and their employers so we have to keep focused and targeted advocacy efforts that are backed in facts and solutions. I think emailing the engagement email address shared on the call at least escilates the issues a bit better. Maybe there should be a request to have a listening session specific either to processing times and/or K1's.

I sincerely doubt it. Most of us are interested until our loved ones arrive, and then we'll leave this argument behind. Very few are willing to stick with it for the long haul, and that's what it takes for government advocacy.

I want to ask about the discrepancy between CSC and TSC for K-1 petitions. Why does it exist and when will it get resolved?

He said that they are looking into resolving the disreprecies between the two service centers. He said they are going to look into different avenues to fix the work load. He really didn't say much more. He was also very complimentary of how the person gave him the number csc 20days and TSC 200 days. He said that was informative to him. He didn't mention when it will be fixed!
