Does anyone know how can I extend my approved petition I-129F?? In less then a month it will expire and I haven't received anything from NVC yet.

I have heard people here say that it automatically extends the expiration date. So no worries :)

Doubt all you want but some embassy's do. I did a quick search on the forum. Contact your embassy to figure out if they will do it automatically or if you have to request to do so.

I have Heard and seen the same thing on here too, that the approve petition is automatic renew for a year. So I think you are correct

I already called the embassy and they said they can't extend the petition unless they have the case.. and I after I called uscis and they said they can't help me.. I don't know what to do now. :(

You stated you called the Embassy and USCIS, but have you called the NVC.( the number is 1-603-334-0700) It has to go there after it is approve and before it goes to the embassy. below is a link to the flowchart for I-129f petitions

Does anyone know how can I extend my approved petition I-129F?? In less then a month it will expire and I haven't received anything from NVC yet.

Mine expired on January 9th, NVC received my petition on the 13th and assigned a case # on the 14th. So far it hasn't been a problem, but I won't know for certain until it reaches the embassy.

I know for a number of posters who received their NOA2 in October, they just received extensions from USCIS for another 4 months. It sounds like that might happen to you.

No. It is not automatically renewed for a year. You generally have to at least request the embassy to extend it. How you make the request depends on the embassy. I believe London requires both parties to provide a new letter sayng they promise to get married w/in 90 days of arrival. Some embassies just accept e-mails.

The OP is stuck because the application is in USCIS-NVC limboland. NVC can't do anything because it doesn't have the file yet. Calling them about this matter will only give the OP some useless answer (I speak from experience). USCIS has to acknowledge the case still hasn't reached NVC before it will do anything.

NVC can also acknowledge that they do not have the case and since the op already stated that he call the USCIS and the embassy. Then he should call NVC. Once the petition leaves the USCIS of course they will not know nothing about the case, as they have no further dealing with the case. USCIS only acknowledge when the petition was approved and when it was sent to the NVC. They will not know when it arrives there.

The OP has no idea if it has left USCIS. USCIS might have claimed it has shipped it to NVC, but for about 20 of us, that claim proved to be wrong. For some of us fortunate ones, USCIS finally acknowledged it in December (3 months after approval). This has become a problem with CSC since September.

I understand what you're saying, and in an ideal situation you're right. That's just not the scenerio the OP is dealing with. I also know from other threads that the OP has previously contacted the NVC (which said they didn't have the file).

I did not read the other threads by the op. I was only going by what he wrote here, which I understood as that his petition was approved and was supposedly sent to the NVC. That is why I suggested to call the NVC.
