Can everyone relax a bit?

I know this process is frustrating for all of us, the wait is awful. I have personally been waiting for 6 months. But please stop letting your frustration out on other members. Right after Christmas personal attacks/insults have skyrocketed and it is sad to see.

If someone even tries to say something along the lines of "I know how you feel" and they happen to be from the Philippines or someone who did this process years ago and complain about the wait time then people just jump down their throat.

People who ask how to get expedited get attacked because people are so afraid of just one more person skipping past them in the line to get a visa.

Please everyone, if you can't be nice towards others than please don't post at all.

i've only been part of this forum for a few days but the dark cloud vibe is undeniable..

honestly speaking, i see why and totally understand

we all wish there was a better/faster/more efficient system

real talk. just seeing how things work now and damn uscis/etc needs a better system. period.

First, it's a coping mechanism. It keeps me from buying a gun and doing worse things if I can blow off a little steam when necessary. Frustration is a natural part of life. Holding it in because someone else on a forum suggests otherwise leads to mass murder. You wouldn't want that, would you?

Second, you've had your share of frustration and venting on this forum. That's OK, I accept it. I just see it as a bit disingenuous when you then come on here with a holier-than-thou post and expect us to step in line with your new found piety.

We're not bad people for venting. Please don't treat us as such. If you don't like it, don't read it. More specifically, don't tell others what they should or should not do. If you were raised to respect others, that's something you should know.

It can be frustating when someone says they know how you feel when they clearly don't. I know that's what's caused me to jump down people's throats on this board a couple times.

I think that being positive is best but do understand when someone needs to rant once in a while. This is a hard process and can be depressing and some good days and some bad days but we should all except what people have to say even if we might agree or not agree. It seems to me we have all had days when might just think we have a little more visa rage than others so I think everyone should give everyone a break and just listen and try to be positive when you are having a good day...

unfortunately it has been this way for many yrs........lot of great advice on VJ....Guess that's why I just stick to the Canada forum..and block the posters that bother you.
