Hi hta,

On my personal experienced, I did went back knowing that they(SLEC), give me a TB skin test. BUT!!!! Came in there at 3:00 AM or 4:00AM with appointment and yet they will tell you to wait for your name. Called my name after a few hours, they checked on your appointment status/what reason you're there (assuming, since it free) they put me on a stand-by and call me at past 4:30 PM and do that skin test. Here's what the frustating part of it all! The physician before giving me the test was suprised that I went back, and told me, it's not necessary since I already have my visa and packet (Whaaaatttt!!!!). So, after the TB skin test and result (few days and negative on TB). Next they asked me to go back for another X-ray. REALLY??? But, I never did.

Yes, we didn't have any problem entering the US. Just don't carry balot hehehe. This was the year 2014... I don't know if they changed. I feel for your other kid who failed the medical exam. It has to be sad for you guys. More sacrifices. I hope everything goes well for you and your family. Pray always and God bless.

SLEC don't have the authority to get your visa and yellow packet.

I'm no expert but, that's what I went through and my observation. Before I forget, the secretary or nurse...whatever, even told me to expect that, I have to pay for the x-ray, and the blood test too, (AGAIN). Kind of paying another medical check-up. And they almost lost/misplaced my passport. I have to wait for them to look for it and out of SLEC by past 6:00 PM.

If SLEC contacted you about new TB testing, go do it.

FYI:  Having a visa does NOT guarantee entry into the USA.  It is possible if there is a notice in the computer at POE the immigration agent can turn you away and refuse entry.  That would truly suck.

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!
