I paid 95 in black friday in macys with my debit card for 3 items but it doesn't show what I bought in my bank statement , it just Show 95.macys

If you have the receipt there should be a problem bringing the shirt back and asking them to remove it. I don't think that they would think that you stole it. It should have set off alarms when you left the first time. (did it?) If it didn't maybe it's deactivated. But it shouldn't be a problem.

Bring in the bank statement with all 3 items in the macys bag.

You should then have no problem to show that you bought these (they can add them up) and see that its the correct price as on your statement.

And then you explain that when you got home one still had the tag on.

Trust me, that'll work fine.

I can give an advise as someone who knows such things. In department stores they often forget to remove security tags, it's nothing unique. I would recommend to take it back to Macy's and they can remove it safely in a couple of seconds with special tool. You might try to remove tag yourself but depends on a type of tag it might cause permanent damage to clothes (ink) or even hand injury (sharp needle). You don't have to have your copy of recept, as long as you have the same debit/credit card you paid with they might be able to pull transactions made using this card at the register if they will get suspicious. Take it back to store and if salesperson will not be helpful ask to speak with store's Executive in Charge.

I have had this happen before. What I did was call the store I purchased the item from and explained the situation. I was told to bring the item in and it would be no problem to have the security tag removed. I brought the card I used to pay and took down the name of the person I spoke with just in case I had any issues, but it was rather uneventful. Thankfully I still had the store bag, so I put the item in the bag and when I got to the store, I told the person at the service counter I had called and talked to so and so and they said it would be no problem to remove the tag. They took it off and I was on my way in just a couple of minutes.

Don't stress it too much, I'm sure it will be okay. This type of thing happens all the time, especially during the holidays.

If paid by credit card they can use you credit card information. Also as a member mentioned they can look up the security camera for that day, it happened one time to me where the cashier did not out my jean in the basket and I was charged for it, when they look at the security camera they saw they she put only one T shirt.

Take it to Macy's. If you don't have the receipt, print a copy of your c/c receipt showing the charge for it. If you don't have any receipt at all, just take it to Macy's and ask them to remove it. If the associate refuses to do so, ask for a manager and explain the situation again.

Good luck.

Glad you got it removed. I have had that happen many times. I just go back and sometimes set off alarms going in. Once I had bought an item in a city an hour drive from my home. I wasn't going back and there wasn't that store in my town. So I went to my local mall to a different store and asked if they had something to remove it. They did with no questions asked. Sometimes it's just what kind of confidence you present yourself with that gets you what you want. :P
