It works. That is how we did FPF. Even on semi-fire, the advertised rate of fire (conservative though it is) is faster than the sustained rate of fire. With the M16A2, after the first 20 to 30 rounds, we would often experience feed problems. Kinda sucks when you can only get a few rounds off before having to perform SPORTS.
