Hello,

We got our 1st RFE regarding my fiance's criminal record on 10/16. We responded to it on 10/31. Then, unfortunately after waiting for almost 2 months, we got our 2nd RFE on 12/16. We are not sure what they will be asking yet as the letter is still on the way to his home. I hope after this, we will hear good news but can it be another RFE again? Is 2nd RFE our last chance?

I hope I hope they are not asking much and the 2nd time will be faster...

Was there anything in the criminal records that might need to be cleared up? I feel it would be strange if there was something else other than the criminal record and they didn't tell you in the first RFE but I am not familiar with the way they work. I have seen others get a denial after failing two RFE's, hopefully it won't happen to you guys. Good luck!

They can give more than 1 RFE. It isn't the last chance per se. Wait to see what it is and then go from there.
