My packet has moved very fast. NVC received it and within a week sent it to the embassy 4 days later. I called last week when they had it and they gave me my case #. Today I called to see if they still had it and they told me that they sent it to the embassy last Friday and that I should start calling the Embassy to ask if they have received it. NVC also gave me my Invoice # and Beneficiary #. Both of these my fiancé will need with the case # to pick up the packet at the embassy in his country. I would advise everyone to be in touch with VJers who have just gone through this step and further steps who share the same foreign embassy as you because they are our trailblazers as we are for those still waiting for their NOA2. Everyone I have spoke to says DO NOT WAIT FOR THEM TO SEND YOU A NOTIFICATION FORM THE EMBASSY, just call and ask them because NVC had my packet 6 days after I was approved and only had it 4 more days before shipping it out and I would imagine I won't be receiving their notice for another month with all of the info I just received over the phone. Good Luck!!!!

HAHAHAHA --- guess what??? I'm also on hold with the NVC!!! the staff is working hard, JolyDan. Let's hope they're working hard giving our cases numbers!!!!! *fingers crossed*

Once we have case numbers, at least for London embassy people, we can book medicals! :)

Looks like our cases were shipped in the same batch to NVC - here's hoping it's our lucky night!!

nothing at all

my fiancee kept calling all day yesterday and in the end the employee told her nothing's on the screen, perhaps your case in the building

it's really frustrating to wait 20 days just to numerate the case and send it off to the embassy :clock::clock::clock::clock:

Ours was shipped to NVC on December 12th, I called Wednesday night and last night (Thurs) and they said they still hadn't received it. So I'll be calling back daily. I got the 35 days speech on both calls but I just replied with "35 days? Ok cool I'll just keep calling back...thanks!" *click* lol

Fingers crossed they have it today! I keep seeing on these forums horror stories about it being over a month for some people and not hearing from NVC and it's terrifying! I just want them to get it, give us a case number and ship it to London. That would be the best Christmas gift, haha
