unfortunately, the law gives way too much to cops. how do you quantify 'fear for your life' in a court of law? say you were scared, it's that simple. that's why the cops quote about 'can i shoot this guy' stuck out in my head. he already knew the answer to that question. and therein lies the root issue.

When, exactly?

I was trained in security procedures when I was stationed in Sicily. It's called the use of deadly force. Your first response is never your firearm unless a deadly threat is imminent. You wouldn't even pull your 9mm out unless another person had a weapon or you were outnumbered.

They should change the laws so that the shooter will receive no points unless the unarmed black or blacks hands are fully raised in the air. This will help discourage the open season and killing of unarmed blacks in America.

Yeah, believe it or not, I'm not a big fan of the cops. This particular case bothers me because it's a crystal clear case for self defense on the part of the cop. Not sure why it bugs me. I know there would never be a situation where I'd assault a cop and try to take his gun. Seems these protestors have no issue with that, and in fact support that kind of behavior.

I wonder how many cops will think twice before pulling the trigger and end up dead because of this deal. Also, I think it's going to be tougher to recruit decent people to be police officers because of this nuttery.

From inside the confined space of a vehicle his baton or ASP are useless. Mace on the other hand would have been effective...on both of them.
