Help Regarding USCIS Receipt Number

Hello,

I have a question regarding my USCIS Receipt Number. This site, and others that I've reviewed, indicate the breakout for the receipt number is as follows:

AAA BB CCC D EEEE

In this format, CCC is supposed to be the working day of the fiscal year the case is received. This leads me to believe the CCC should be represented by a numeric value range of 001 to 365. Well, my CCC value is 909. Could this possibly be an error on the part of the USCIS or are CCC values outside of the 001-365 range common?

Thanks. I started getting a little panic-y after doing a little research on the number break out. I feel a little better about it knowing it's not just me.

Your 909 is September 9th.

AAA BB CCC D EEEE

AAA is the letter code of the service center dealing with your petition.

BB is the year, so if you sent in your petition this year it should be 14.

CCC is the work day of the year your petition was received, so 909 becomes September 11th (not 9th like I wrote above) because the 11th is the 9th business day in September

DEEEE is your particular case number

Your 909 is September 9th.

That kind of makes sense, but I got the receipt number in early August and haven't seen anything regarding dates being projected in the receipt number. Also, from what I've read, the format adhears to a three digit number; how would a two digit month and two digit date be represented?

mine receipt number is different the first three letters are for Nebraska service center LIN but the next two are 15 and I file my I-30 petition in October of this year. my next three number for working days is 900

I believe it is 15 because october starts the fiscal year .
