My fiance is at St Lukes right now. She printed 3 copies of the email appointment confirmation, but they say they need the letter from Embassy with our case number. How do we get that?

That is weird. Appointment confirmation should be enough. In my case since I did not have appointment confirmation or NVC letter so I printed the CEAC status instead that can be found here:

https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

It has the case number and they accepted it.

AOS Journey:

March 30 - AOS/EAD/AP sent

April 2 - USCIS received

April 9 - NOA1

May 6 - Biometrics

May 7 - Case is ready for interview

May 21 - Request for EAD expedite

May 26 - contact congressman for EAD expedite

June 1 - EAD card in production

June 2 - EAD approved

June 6 - EAD/AP combo card received

I just sent her the NOA2 with the receipt number and my letter from the NVC with both the receipt number and the case number. Hopefully, that will work.

NVC letter or email with MNL is what the guards require.

There are computer shops surrounding SLEC that charge a small fee to print out documents, such as the NVC letter. The guards might accept viewing the letter on a gadget as well. There are a lot of people on their gadgets in SLEC every day.

NOA2 is useless (for now), don't bring that to SLEC or USEM. The NVC letter with the MNL# is the "GOLD", print required copies of that for SLEC

Thanks everyone for your input. I scanned and emailed her both the NOA2 and NVC letter, she printed both right there by SLEC and everything went well from there. My guess is all she needed was the NVC letter.
