Well when tickets are bought there's a dropdown asking if you want a window or aisle seat, but that doesn't mean you will get it and the disclaimer on the site shoudl say so. Usually it's just an initial preference, but when he checks you in, he can choose exactly where you sit (e.g. 12B, 20R, 18F, etc).

Note that it's a first come first served basis in choosing seats, and in my experience is if the checkin is about 2-3 hours after it opens up, all the window and aisle seats are likely taken and most of the available seats will be in the middle :)

I would recommend that he check you in 24 hours before your flight so he can choose the best place to sit based on availability.

Ah ok. So in case he wants to reserve a seat for me, he needs to do that 1 day before my flight. Ok .i get it. You're a big help. Thank you so much :)
