Hi guys. I'm confused. My fiancé bought my ticket online. And I will leave on December 2. But it worries me a lot. I saw in the naia website that I need to bring the credit card that I used when I bought the plane ticket. The problem is I'll travel alone and it was my fiancés credit card. What will I do?

Do you experience something like this when you leave the country?

Since it'll be the airlines checking you in, etc. So it would be best to call the airline. I live in Manila with my wife and have flown out with tickets bought online. I've never had to show the credit card. I just had to show passport, ticket/e-ticket/online check-in voucher, and travel tax receipt (when flying internationally) and that's with Delta, Cathay Pacific, Asiana, and Cebu Pacific; they never asked for the credit card. But it's best to call the airline to confirm about your situation.

You have two options. You either ask your fiance (the one who purchased the ticket) to go to the airline office/booth to verify that he bought the ticket for you. OR have your fiance send you a scanned copy of his credit card (front and back) and a photocopy of his I.D (like his license). If did the scanned copy, but I was never asked for it. It was with Delta.

i remembered a year ago flying from Manila to US with PAL airline they don't asked the copy of my husband credit card, but just in safe place ask your fiance to scan his credit card and bring it with you in the airport. best luck

Agree with the comments above.

Ok. Thank you guys!!maybe I will just ask a scanned copy of his credit card and I.d

Well honestly, I asked my friend who is working at the airport to call the terminal 1 since its Japan airline and the representative said that just bring the copy of voucher and the passport. But my other friend called too and they said that just scanned the credit card front and back then present it. So I will do it just in case. Thank you again ❤️❤️❤️

Bought my fiancee's ticket online at Priceline.com, one-way ticket from MNL to LAX, Philippine Airlines. I emailed her a copy of the credit card I used, font and back, along with a copy of my driver's license. I made sure she printed the email confirmation and the boarding pass as soon as I checked her in 24 hours before the flight.

They never asked for the copies of the credit card and driver's license when she went to the NAIA Terminal 2. But it's good to have it and not need it rather than the other way around :)

Good luck!

You will have the opportunity to print the boarding pass as soon as you check her in 24 hours before the actual flight (in the PAL website, it won't allow you to check her in until it's 24 hours before the flight). What I did was to first save the boarding pass as a PDF, then printed a copy for my records, then emailed a copy of the boarding pass to my fiancee. Then I emailed the PDF file of the boarding pass to her as well just for good measure.

Your fiance checking you in to your flight online just reduces the time it takes for you to stand in front of the flight agent, and allows your fiance to choose where you will sit on the plane and specify the number of check-in baggage you have. Even if you don't check in online, the flight agent at the terminal can check you in but they will assign a random seat to you, and check in your baggage on the system.

With all the other fees you will need to pay the terminal, it's just good to reduce the amount of time for all the steps above as much as you can. Once the flight agent has checked you in, they will give you the "real" paper boarding pass needed to board the plane.

Hope this makes sense!

Well when tickets are bought there's a dropdown asking if you want a window or aisle seat, but that doesn't mean you will get it and the disclaimer on the site shoudl say so. Usually it's just an initial preference, but when he checks you in, he can choose exactly where you sit (e.g. 12B, 20R, 18F, etc).

Note that it's a first come first served basis in choosing seats, and in my experience is if the checkin is about 2-3 hours after it opens up, all the window and aisle seats are likely taken and most of the available seats will be in the middle :)

I would recommend that he check you in 24 hours before your flight so he can choose the best place to sit based on availability.
