I was just wondering if there were anyone else out there who is interviewing or going through the USCIS, NVC, or the Nairobi Embassy? I know there were 2 new approvals this week, and we are waiting for an interview. I was feeling kind of lonely and wanted to know if we were alone or has everyone left? Lol

Hi,

I'm currently at the NVC stage for a K1 visa and will eventually be interviewing in Nairobi. I got my NOA2 approval on November 6, but NVC hasn't received my file yet. You're not alone :)

What does the expiration date of an NOA2 exactly mean? Is that the date by which you have to apply (DS160 submitted), or is that the date by which you have to have an interview scheduled or completed? And what was your result, did you get a January interview set up? Thanks!

Not sure about the expiry date thing because we filed a CR-1. What you can do is start your own post that way it get more attention on the forums and some one that filed a K-1 can answer that question for you. You will get your answer faster that way. There are many people here to help you. God speed!

Also we do have a n interview scheduled in Jan. so no results yet.

HI JBO,

I haven't scheduled for the Jan interview yet , I called the USA embassy Nairobi, they said that they havent opened Jan calendar yet , since they have slots in Dec , So they gave an option either book in Dec since they calendar is still on and has space for booking or keep checking until they open for Jan .

When are you going for your interview?
