Wrong VJ timeline?

Timeline

Speaking from personal experience, the reason mine was originally entered incorrectly was due to it being wrong in my personal information, but correct on my VJ timeline. Then someone on VJ kindly explained this to me. It needs to be correct in both places, which is why so many people get it wrong I believe. Just thought I'd share this! :)

Dear sweet Pheebs, your personal info location still is "Lewisville TX Lockbox" when it should be CSC though! I hadn't noticed that. It's a completely understandable mistake.

Dallas is the location you mail your petition to. They receive it and distribute it. It's just a coincidence that it's in Texas, it could be in any other state, and they would then send you to TSC or CSC depending on where you are from.

Edit: people are fast at replying!

I didn't expect replies this fast either LOL

No clue.. She just gets them from "trusted sources", which is why I try not to pay too much attention to them LOL!

I mean I can understand mixing up the Texas lockbox with TSC, I did it as well way in the beginning, but on the NOA1 it states clearly which SC you got sent to.

I'm aware not all confused their SC's but that question was mainly for a reference idea since the last time TSC actually checked what dates they were working on was September 30th.

I'm just mildly annoyed with myself if anything because I keep checking the dates on VJ and they're getting me excited for no reason ????

Well gosh, now you have me very curiously interested and excited! I eagerly await to see if this source is correct. :dancing:

It would be such a nice Christmas present...

Timeline

As I responded to this issue on another thread, this is what I've gotten from seeing different threads and noticing on timelines at the moment (and also what the USCIS stated when they were still showing processing dates):

CSC is processing more recent (Oct/Nov) applications. Most people there have received NOA2s unless they got RFE or got delayed.

TSC is processing applications from June/July and also expediting Philippines applications. Most recent filers (like me, an Oct filer) are looking at January or February for NOA2. The one you were talking about that said "Irab" or whatever was ACTUALLY Philippines. It was a little deceiving :). Many July/August filers have stated that they have not gotten NOA2's yet (or RFE or anything like that), so it seems that they are still in the summer applications.

Some are transferred; some aren't. But that's really all it is. Yes, some do have RFE, are denied, or get delayed somehow. BUT, in general, that is basically what it is. TSC is backed up. Even with all the research, it's so unpredictable with them. They could transfer at any point but who knows if they will. They aren't touching more recent applications right now because they still are in the summer ones, and it's most likely going to take 5 months, as it stated. The average for the last year for TSC was 5 months. So pretty much everyone there waited 5 months to get their NOA2. That's what we're looking at right now.

Unless somehow TSC starts randomly transferring cases or speeds up and goes from July to Oct filers within a few weeks, it's pretty doubtful we'll get it in time for Christmas... :( Average is still 5 months, and from the processing history within the last year & last few months, that sounds about right.

Apparently according to VJ, these are the current processing dates for K-1 based on data:

CSC: October 6th

TSC: August 9th

Again, I've seen many July/August filers that have not yet received their NOA2. So I think they're still working on July, too! Obviously the data does not include every single person, as probably not every filer is on VJ. :clock:

My fiance and I grasped at anything that would show progress at TSC. Since USCIS failed to keep up to date we started watching the VJ timelines closer..

Well, needless to say if our VJ timeline was correct (thanks in part to a good number of incorrectly filled out timelines) Luke should have been here sometime last summer and we'd have a baby on the way by now. *major sarcasm*

It's nice to look at, but eventually the date gets ridiculous and doesn't help at all.. I've just stopped looking at both timelines. We're July 8th filers, so here's to hoping it's not much further on down the line. I am sending out letters to my senator and congressman on Monday.

No clue.. She just gets them from "trusted sources", which is why I try not to pay too much attention to them LOL!

It would be a blessing to anyone, who got transferred to CSC, as I have discovered that the work loads are about the same, TSC, ''"WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM???""

As for Filipino expedite, you would have to see the devastation to that county's towns an villages, and thousands of people still have not been found. It also hit a very populated area, been there, saw that!

The ""spin off"" is it has effected the whole country, as the resources from other areas, and people, has been sent to help the deeply effected areas!

I have ""heard"" the expedites will last until the rest of the year.,.,.,.,they need it!!!

The workload isn't exactly the same. TSC still has more applications based on data from here & what I saw on USCIS. It's not a huge amount, but they still have more, and they just probably got delayed and ended up getting backed up. Besides that, it honestly depends on the time. In past years, sometimes CSC was super slow. Just at this point they're the fast one, and TSC is the slow one.

Dear sweet Pheebs, your personal info location still is "Lewisville TX Lockbox" when it should be CSC though! I hadn't noticed that. It's a completely understandable mistake.

I have uploaded screen shots of my answers to my timeline... I don't understand why Lewisville is wrong when thats the option for "filing location"? Is that not where everyone sends their i-129fs? And then below it shows that I have selected CSC as my service centre? I'm so confused as to why this is incorrect, can someone explain? :huh2:

Yes, although I believe with the London Embassy there is no traditional "packet three" anymore, they just send you a letter with links to all the forms online (which you can access prior to receiving said letter anyway as the links are in the Regional Forum on VJ).

My OH is here visiting with me in England right now and then we are flying back to the US together for Christmas which is handy as he won't have to send me anything, I can just bring it all back in my suitcase :P

How are you doing with it all?

Yes i visited Regional Canada, it is a very helpful thread. I am trying to gather all the documents now.

My police certificates might be my hold up, it takes 3 weeks to get it here in Canada, and I have been to 2 other places before here. So getting police clearance certificates from there is gonna take a while. I goal for Feb 2015 to get the visa though (Hoping things go smoothly). Do you think that's realistic? Or to early? When do you think you will get the visa?

In that case we have the same goal :D I am also hoping for February 2015. From my reading of the various forums and the K1 timeline I would say it *might* be possible- it largely rests on how long our cases take to get through NVC which seems to be anything from a week to two months so let's just hope we are lucky and it's the shorter end of things! Then of course, how quickly we get an interview date following the medical. Only time will tell.

Feel free to PM me if you want to chat further so we don't clog up this thread :P
