Timeline

K-1 here also. I knew my wife for over 9 years before she came here, and have been married for over three years now. I'd venture to guess there is little difference in divorce rates between K-1's and CR-1's. I see the rush to get married on the first trip as much as I see K-1 applications after the first visit. My own view is the assumption that every CR-1 is more committed and know each other better so their marriage will last longer, is a fallacy based on the wishful thinking of some. There are no facts to back it up, and its based on the same misconceptions that the 90 Day Fiancee show likes purport are true.

Following on that point, I'd expect to see a stronger correlation between time spent together* prior to immigration and divorce/success rates, than between visa type and divorce/success rate.

Multiple factors - number of visits, total hours/days spent together, time elapsed between first meeting and visa application, to name a few...
