I'm happy for those that have been approved, but at the same time I'm baffled that I'm seeing people who applied the same time as me and others are awaiting interviews already. Basically 2 months from when they first applied. What is CSC doing that TSC isn't, maybe CSC just has it easier. Idk it's frustrating, especially not being able to check my status.

That's what I truly don't understand. Why is there such a big difference between Texas & California? :( I'm so glad we can congregate together in our misery as sad as it is. It is comforting to know that I'm not the only one that feels this way.

I just called these guys by the way, to check the status. The computer told me the recent information then asked me if I wanted to transfer for additional information, I was transferred no wait. Lady was nice asked for the case number search it but then said she couldn't find my case because of the technical error and she told me to call back on monday as they expect the technical error to be resolved. PLEASE don't tell me she is typing in the case number in the regular portal as we are! I was a little confused because the automated process when I enter my SRC, the computer finds my case and tells me when it was last touched but she couldn't ??? So that was really confusing!

10/25: Mailed my I-129F using USPS Express to Texas Lockbox

10/27: NOA 1 notification from USCIS

10/30: NOA 1 Hard copy received in the mail

12/15: NOA 2 Email/Text (49 Days)

12/17: USCIS Sent case to NVC

12/29: NVC Received Case

12/30: MNL# Assigned

1/6: USEM Received Case "Ready"

1/29: Interview :dancing: (APPROVED)

LOL i was laughing at this as well. They just log on to the website themselves and check the status like we do. So funny that they do the same exact thing we do and you'd think they have a different system where they check their cases.

Nothing for me, nothing has been touched since the NOA1. The website continues to be broken, but at least I can phone from time to time. We're all in this for the long haul, with some exceptions.

You will be the exception I'm happy to tell you. You may be at TSC, but you can expect your application will be processed in roughly a couple of months. You won't be waiting as long as the rest of us, as you have a Philippine fiancé. TSC expedites those petitions ahead of the rest of us. They are still backlogged and slow, so you won't be as fast as if you were sent to CSC, but rest assured your NOA2 will be coming soon.

Sorry I never mentioned that my fiancee is Filipina but living and working in Abu Dhabi since 2008, if that has anything to do with the quick NOA2.

Oh... *sigh* I am simultaneously crushed yet still happy for you. And here I had been holding onto slight hope some miracle was going to happen. Yes that does indeed explain it. You were expedited. :)

In case this hasn't been said enough already, anyone at TSC who has gotten their NOA2 who has recently filed is most likely from Philippines or was military expedited. Otherwise TSC is still backed up to June/July. They're currently processing & giving NOA2's to those filers, as well as anyone from Philippines. Unfortunately we still have months to go for the NOA2 unless transferred... :clock:

Best of luck to everyone!

Yep. Your case worker saw Philippines and that was all they needed. ^_^

The government doesn't use logic and reasoning skills, and this is fortunate for you two. Or maybe in this case paying attention. I'd assume the country or origin in particular must be the deciding factor, rather than where they are residing now.

Mena 28 says the work load is virtually the same, as I thought that TSC was just over loaded. If this is true, then, management is not doing their jobs of processing applications.

Why has this been this way for years, as when we went through VSC, we were 186 days, and CSC was doing in one half the time, now TSC is the new VSc,.,.,.,somebody is NOT doing their job!

With so many lives effected, why can we not get an investigation as to """WHY""" VSC, and TSC, are so similar, and ssssooooooooooo, slow, compared to CSC???

I was just looking at the numbers on VJ though - where all the timelines are? under each month it says how many petitions for each month for K-1. And there the numbers are virtually the same. Sure, only a part of all applicants finds VJ, but still it should reflect reality to some degree. (what are the chances that 2/3 of all CSC people find VJ, but only 1/3 of TSC? We all have access to the same internet)

Don´t know what their "official" numbers are, how many different types they are processing or haw many employees they have. All factors.

Before the uscis site was downgraded there was a way to see the processing stats, including how many cases each service center received and had processed. I don't know where that info is now, but when I looked at it several weeks ago, the numbers between TSC and CSC were fairly similar. Maybe TSC has more of the other types of petitions they handle and that's why they don't move through I-129f's like CSC does??

VJ gives an amount of applications being currently processed in the last several months for K visas or, if you want, in the last year. Plus the general list of times it has taken. You can see it here: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/stats.php?history=90

California: 346

Texas: 549

Granted this is only the amount listed on VJ, and the amount on USCIS website when still available to see was pretty higher still. But you will see that TSC does, in fact, have more applications than CSC.. at least on here. It wouldn't make sense for them to not be approving them faster if they had less or the same. They should be transferring them, but they probably won't. I'm sure they're like little kids who have a lot of food on their plate that they won't eat but don't want to give it up because it's "theirs".
