Hi everyone please a little help, I was reading that when I get the stamp in my appointment notice after doing the biometrics appointment I should give a copy of it to the staff member handling my I-485

So, I only got ONE of my letter stamped..... Did I had to give it to the guy that was on the central table giving people numbers and helping them file their forms?

I am desperate now.... Or was the guy that did my fingerprints that held a copy of it already? And gave me one to myself?

Cause I only got one and a yellow paper and the guy said after doing my fingerprints ''drop it at the table''

But I only dropped the yellow paper that was about quality of the place not my letter stamped ...........????

Also i can't ready my asc code, he typed it very weirdly..... should i just wait for some USCIS letter? Or should I go back and give that letter stamped to someone?

I received a stamp on my biometrics letter. I don't think it really matters whether you do or not. USCIS knows you've done the biometrics.

Thanks so much for the fast reply , really really appreciate

So once I got the letter with the stamp, I did not had to go to the guy that was giving people numbers to sit down and wait and giving them forms a copy of anything right?

The staff member handling my I=485 then was probably the guy that was with me in the little room taking my fingerprints and he already kept a copy for himself correct? and only returned me original docs and my original letter stamped ?

Also after that there is nothing to do or how to check right? cause i got an ASC SITE CODE but the guy typed weirdly and when i type on the thing to check status says invalid..... not sure if is cause he typed wrong or cause there is no way to check it

The stamped letter serves as proof that you have done biometrics. You keep it.

so when he said ''drop it on the table'' was prob only the yellow paper about quality of the place correct? not the original letter with stamp that i had on my hand

Also after that there is nothing to do or how to check right? cause i got an ASC SITE CODE but the guy typed weirdly and when i type on the thing to check status says invalid..... not sure if is cause he typed wrong or cause there is no way to check it

Now I understand, what made me confused was that http://www.jackson-hertogs.com/jh/60504.pdf

I did the mistake to read something saying ''after the biometrics appointment get done, give a copy of the stamped letterto the staff member who is handling your I-485''

It meant to give to the lawyer....... hahahah.... so sorry everyone

Is just such a complicated and important process that we go crazy sometimes.... anyway sorry about that and Most of the awesome luck for all of us :)

hi everyone! After the biometrics, what will be the next step?how many months we need to wait?thank you

Hi ! Depends what you applied for, if you applied for i-765 and i-485 , 30-60 days to receive you EAD on the mail or to receive a letter from USCIS requesting something else sometiems another biometrics appointment, if it happens you gotta go again....

But normally you gonna already receive your EAD and everything will go smoothly esp if the place you gave fingerprints was electronic , what makes everything faster

just be patient and pay attention in your mail box
