Hello everyone, I want to file 2011 and 2012 tax returns but I was working in egypt and my income was with egyptian pounds not USD should I write it in the tax return by egyptian pounds or what equals it by dollar?

You should report everything in USD, based on the exchange rate when you received or paid the egyptian pounds.

Thank you for your reply.

But unfortunately I have already sent the tax returns for 2012 and wrote the adjusted gross income in EGP not in USD .what should I do now? And what should I send to prove this income ? I attached with the tax return a letter from the place where I used to work stating the income and the duration.is that okay or what?

6/30/14 (Day 10): Received NOAs and biometrics notice for 7/24
7/7/14 (Day 17): Walk-in biometrics at Pittsburgh ASC
7/30/14 (Day 40): Email update: I-485 has moved to "Testing and Interview" stage

8/20/13 (Day 61): Text notification: I-131 and I-765 approved, "Card Production" status

8/28/14 (Day 69): Text notification: EAD/AP card mailed

8/29/14 (Day 70): EAD/AP card received

9/10/14 (Day 82): Text msg of case update - interview date notice mailed

10/16/14 (Day 118): Interview - approved. Text update of "card production" status
10/20/14 (Day 122): Received welcome letter

10/23/14 (Day 125): Received green card

You can send your tax return online or using paper forms but you must be registered for Self Assessment.or You can hire a professional (eg an accountant) to help you with your tax return.There are deadlines for sending your return and penalties if you miss them.

Um, what?

Your first sentence is wrong, or at least very confusing. And none of your post has anything to do with the original question.
