NEW EAD OR EAD RENEWAL?

Hi all

I am concurrently filing for I-485 AOS, I-130 and I-765. I am currently on an F1 visa, doing my post-completion OPT which expires in January.

Here is my question: what option do I choose on I-765 for the first part - would this be a:

1. "Permission to accept employment" or

2. "Renewal of my permission to accept employment

I am a little hesitant between the two since I already have an EAD. Is this considered a new EAD application, since the employment authorization would be based on AOS (and not OPT), or simply a renewal since I already have one, regardless of the basis. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
