congrats on your marriage. Best wishes

  • Cr1 process will take around 12 - 14 months to complete
  • If its DCF then 6-7 months (not sure about exact time frame coz our is CR1 filed from US)
  • If you have proper document and your relationship is true and if you can prove the same with evidence, there should be no issue

Our is 20+ years of difference :goofy:

My wife and I are 25 years different in age. She is younger. It should not matter about age difference. The Only issue is where he is from. The U.S. gov carefully screens people from Arab countries. Best of luck. Be patient. If it is a legit marriage you will eventually be approved

Many people from all over in your same situation have been approved. It's about proving a bonafide relationship. There's no easy fast way. Egypt is slow scheduling interviews and the process from USCIS to NVC is a year in itself then waiting for interview.

So buckle up for a long ride. Pack your patience.

Egypt is a high fraud country and Cairo embassy is tough. Prepare for the questions well and address your age gap accordingly.
If you are no longer of child bearing age what will you answer when asked about future children, discuss it with your husband.

It is easier for an older man and younger female than vise versa, a double standard but a reality.

Be there when your husband will interview.

I am 21 years older than my husband and he is from a so-called high fraud MENA country, age was not an issue for us. I was at the interview with my husband and questioned and the only thing the CO asked was if we were bothered by the age difference, we both said no and it was never mentioned again. I know many other couples like us from the Middle East and all were approved. Egypt does not allow the petitioner at the interview, or inside the consulate for that matter anymore.

To the OP, as long as you have plenty of relationship evidence the age difference won;t be a problem. My husband and I had many more red flags than you do and we sailed through the process

All that stuff is secondary. How much face-time have you spent together that's the real evidence. Especially when there are red flags.
