I don't think anybody really thinks vigilante justice is fine.

I just think that most people find the thought of a child being raped so repulsive that they can sympathize with the father and understand his actions. Honestly, I don't know how anybody could not feel that way.

 I don't see how anybody could not feel this way either.

This sort of thing happens more often than you think. You and BJ may be even more surprised to learn that court jurors often sympathize and render the vigilante innocent.

There was a guy not to long ago walked in on another older kid molesting his son. He beat the boy senseless before he called the police on him.

Just pointing out to you that rape is not 'worse' depending on who the victim is.

I would argue that it is indeed worse depending on the victim. As an example, while a man raping a 25 year old woman is terrible, at least the woman is an adult and has some chance of fighting back, perhaps even preventing the rape.

If the same man rapes a 7-year old girl, that is, at least in MY mind, worse. I also happen to know a lot of inmates would feel the same way and the rapist wouldn't live long in prison.

It's really not that hard to comprehend.
