This is for recent NVC completes. If you have finished paying all your fees and turn in all the financial and civil documents. How many days did it take for NVC to complete your case if you have no checklist?

I got letter that all civil documents were received on 17 Oct 2014 via USPS. NVC said it could take up to 60 days to review documents. How many days did it take for people that finish it around in August 2014 to get a complete letter?

I looked around another complete in the forum and it seems that NVC took 56 days to show a case complete from the time they scanned.

Anybody has any input?

Yes. I got the email 2 days after they received my paper work. That's why I was so surprised when I called today and they told me the case was completed.

Congratulations for completing your case!! Thumbs up! Just curious. How did you find out about your scan date? Is there a website that we could check out the status on? (if so, does it mention scan date?) or did you call NVC and ask about status (received date, scan date, etc)? I received only email stating that NVC received my AOS & my spouse's IV package and the process will take 60 days, but no scan date was mentioned in it.

Thank you. According to an NVC rep you will only receive the email when they receive your documents and physically scan them (input) into they're system. This is what I was told by them.

What happened to the days, like early 2013, when NVC receive my file one day, give me my number, and sent it on to consulate the next?

What has caused these delays?

OP, it looks like it might be 20 days, 30 days, or as much as one said, 56 days.,.,.,.,I feel for you folks.

But, you probably did not get caught up in Manila, medical, ""Sputum Fiasco".,.,.,.,which is so much govt. corruption it is un-real.,.,..,cost us almost 3 months!

We made it after 10 months and 4 days!

Good luck to all!
