Proof of Domicile or Intent to re-establish domicile?

Hi there -

I am beginning to prepare the materials in anticipation of sending them to the NVC as our I-130 was FINALLY approved (after 10 months!) yesterday.

I'm worrying a bit about the domicile question. I have lived outside of the US for over 12 years. The first 9 years in the UK (where I met my husband) and the last 3 in the UAE. Our plan moving to the UAE has always been to save money for a move to the US, and I have actually done a number of things over the past few years in anticipation of that move, including

-getting a new US driver's license

-re-establishing a credit history (bank account, credit card accounts)

And because I'm hoping to go to graduate school in the US, I have also applied to a number of grad schools and was accepted at one, which I deferred to September 2015, in part because we were waiting for my husband's visa to come through

I am also looking for work at the moment - I want to have as many options as possible available to us

But I have also done a number of things while I've been away to keep a presence in the US. including:

-maintaining my voter registration and voting

-maintaing a mailing address

-maintaing membership in AAA

We don't have a place to live yet, although I am sure my parents or some close friends will let us stay with them when we move. But we actually intend to move and settle in a different state from my parents.

So, should I go for "Evidence of attempt to re-establish domicile" OR "evidence of maintaining domicile?"

Thank you for your help! :-)
