Hi! I'm a new user here and I find this site really helpful. I have few questions that really need answers. I send an email to NVC a month ago but still got no reply. So here's my problem. I received an email from NVC last September 10,2014 about the financial evidence I have submitted. It says that "A review of the I-864, I-864EZ, I-864W or I-864A (if applicable) Affidavit of Support form and supporting documents that you submitted has revealed that you have provided incomplete information in your response or you have not responded to some questions. Please pay specific attention to the questions marked in the attached I-864/A checklist. You will need to complete and submit a new form with the changes noted on the attached checklist."

So I understand that I need to submit a corrected form of the I-864 to the NVC but as I continue reading the letter I read this part that says "The NVC recently completed our review of your visa case. While you meet the minimum qualifications for a visa interview to be scheduled your Affidavit of Support contained one or more sections with missing or incorrect information. Please review the additional instructions below then complete a new Affidavit of Support. (You can download the I-864 form and instructions at http://www.uscis.gov/i-864.) Once you have completed the new Affidavit of Support, please provide it to the principal applicant to bring to his or her visa interview. Do not submit your new Affidavit of Support to the NVC, as doing so will reopen your case and cause processing delays."

Can someone please help what to do? BTW my visa classification is 1r2. THANK YOU!

actually i'm the principal applicant. My stepmom is the usc and my dad is in the states for 4 years already. I have already submitted all civil documents to NVC. Their reply is the one I posted above

Ok, the reason I ask is because if your dad is a USC and you are under 18, you would need an I-864W, not an I-864. If that's not the case, then I don't know what exactly is wrong with your AOS. It says that there is missing or incorrect info, but does it specify what is missing or incorrect? If not, then you would have to contact the NVC so they can tell you what info is missing or incorrect. Do you have a copy of the form you sent on your computer? You can upload it on here and cover the personal info and we could take a look.

This does not constitute legal advice.

Actually I'm 21. My dad corrected the i-864 forms already and I have it printed now. My concern is whether to the send it now to the NVC or not to submit. The letter I received says after correcting the form I should submit it to NVC but it also says NOT TO SUBMIT BECAUSE IT MAY CAUSE DELAY IN THE PROCESSING. I don't have any problems with correcting the form just confused on whether to send it or not.

and my dad is not yet a USC but he's a green card holder

okay, I think all my docs are okay except for the i-864 which I already updated. So to make things clear, I just need to wait for an email again from NVC that my case is complete (without the i-864 which I have on hand)? Can I ask how many weeks did you wait to receive an email from them? I received my email regarding i-864 last September 11. I just need an idea. Thank you for your time answering my questions, really appreciate it.
