Has NVC changed the process on you also?

Just curious about how many cases that NVC has left hanging with the new process of sending packets in together. I am talking about cases that entered NVC when the procedure was to send in AOS packet and fill in DS261 and then wait until IV fee became available before sending in IV packet. I recently became aware that now NVC is now processing packets at the same time and packets that were sent separately are now just put into this same process instead of what was standard when the packets were originally sent in. Just curious how many have been screwed blatantly like us.

Yep, same here. Our last scan dates are 8/12 (civil docs) and 9/19 (AOS checklist response). NVC consolidated the two packages, and they are scheduled to be reviewed according to the most recent date. That could mean more than 90 days to have the civil docs reviewed...

Unfortunately, I have yet to know if I will get a checklist for AOS. Our receipt dates are 8/15 (AOS) and 9/10 (IV). When was your original scan date for AOS packet?

The original AOS package was scanned in on 7/25 and a phone rep informed me about the checklist on 9/16. The actual checklist came by email on the 17th.

I am at a loss for understanding how this process is done anymore. How they can go from reviewing documents in order by the date received to now holding them until the last scanned in document date is baffling. As I understood it before they did it like that because it was impossible for them to put packets together unless you submitted them through EP. Now miraculously they some how can hold on to a packet until an entire case reaches the final scan date? I understand waiting my turn and all of that but find it difficult to swallow when the rules of the process are changed midway thru. Wish there was something that could be done. I can only hope for no checklists from these imbeciles.

Yeah, it's pretty frustrating. If it didn't take them a month and a half to invoice the IV bill (from submitting the DS-261), we would have just submitted both document sets together at the start of the process.

Hi everybody good day to all, my wife case was scanned on July 16th for the AOS THEN WE HAD TO WAIT TILL SEPTEMBER TO PAY THE IV BILL PLUS RECIEVED A checklist for the AOS so now we're just waiting for her to go back to SINGAPORE TO RETRIEVE HER POLICE clearance since they didn't receive the application for the first one that she sent them this is a real time wasting process to be together again with your loved ones but one day hopefully soon this mess will be over cuz this process put a lot of stress on your marriage so everyone good luck on your journey
