Hello everyone,

Today I finally got my case number assigned by NVC. :dancing:

I just completed online form DS-261 the CHOICE OF ADDRESS & AGENT, the confirmation email said I should wait 3 -5 business days to pay the fee, but when I login to the website, it looks like I could pay the fee right now, so should I just pay them right now, or should I wait 3 -5 business days then pay the fees?

For those check box on the form I-864, some of them are not apply to me, so I should leave them unchecked?

Finally, anyone know the marriage certificate from China, does this have a expire date?

Thanks guys

Pay any fees when you can as soon as they become available.

Do not check a check box if it doesn't apply to you.

just got case #, and now you see the fee bills? sweet !

must assume a G-28 was filed with the I-130, and if, indeed, that's the case,

then no need any DS-261 to file.

---

errata - you going to enroll in the optional NVC Electronic Processing program for Guangzhou ? shaves some time off after NVC case complete timetick, and NVC sets the appointment for Guangzhou IV.

---

re: marriage certificate from china - you gots a red book - but do you have a white book ? if yes, use the white book, and no, there is no expiration date. you were to submit a photocopy with the I-130, and if you are using EP at NVC, a scan of it (plus other civil docs) are all that's required - none of this 'mailing' stuff.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I thought only case number start with AMM, ATH, BGH, LMA, MEP, or MTL can do the Electronic Processing program? mine start with GUZ.

Yes I do have the white book, I got that since March, and somehow I thought there is a expiration date on that, glad there is no expiration date, so I don't have to get another one.

Thanks for the replay :dancing:
