Yeah. The 60 day wait is a killer. I have 50 something days to go before the 864 is reviewed then I have a strong feeling that I will get another checklist.

This is my fault I lapsed on having my sibling complete the 864 form. The AOS and IV fees were paid since June 22nd and IV package submitted since July.

I'm praying that I get CC and transfered to the embassy by January.

I hope you'll get cc soon too. This is really taking sooo long, 30 days review is enough.

nbi and police clearance. Because the 1st one we passed before is already expired, so they asked for new one. My mom is calling to nvc every week, and was told that they havent received the the documents yet, and once they received it, it's already case complete, but not really sure about it.I hope its true. Its really taking so long for me to get case complete :(

was it expired when you submitted the clearance or it got expired when the time they review the documents? My police clearance here in UAE is only valid for 3 months. Im afraid it will get expired before the whole NVC process is completed.

Thanks

WOW. That isn't nice.

I hope your process will be finished soon.

I hope they will review my documents before the clearance expires.

thanks for the reply. Yes maybe they havent scanned it yet because of so many paper works. Oh my I'll just really have to be patient.

when you call, do they tell you they received mail for your file? If so, then that is the scan date. Did you include a bar code coversheet?

The NVC is notorious for "losing" documents. Its what they do. I have to wonder if they do it on purpose to make their numbers look better for the months end. You can search on VJ and you will find MANY cases of this.

Good Luck
