You'll get your NOA(s) first maybe in a week or so, then in a few weeks you'll receive a letter with a location and date for your fingerprints and photograph to be taken for your AOS/EAD/AP and this is your biometrics, the photo taken on this day will be used for your Greencard and EAD/AP. After this you should get your EAD approval within 90 days of first sending your application.

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview

Thanks! So what hours are usually the local biometrics open? Also what site can we check once we get NOA1 to see updates?

Sign up for a customer account here:

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/selectusertype.jsp

and add your receipt numbers, which you'll find in the email/text notification if you included a form G1145 (e-notification of petition/application acceptance) with your AOS package. Otherwise, you'll need to wait for your paper receipts (NOA1) in the mail. I got my email/text notifications about a week after I'd sent off my package. Still waiting for my paper receipts, which I expect to receive within the next week or so.

Using the above account you can also set up email and mobile alerts so that you are notified when your case status updates - you'll need to add your mobile number to your profile in order to receive mobile alerts.

Type your zip code into the box on this page to find your local office, where you'll get your biometrics done:

https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=offices.type&OfficeLocator.office_type=ASC

Click through to the office's individual web page and you'll find location and office hours for that office.

NOA 1 takes a little time to process. If you call now they will tell you to wait 30 days. If you signed up for email/text notifications then you will receive receipt numbers, so you can check on their website. The NOA 1 letters takes about two weeks to receive give or take. i know this is stressful and it takes alot of patience.

I sent in my AOS and EAD application on October 19 and was received on October 21. But till now I still haven hear back yet T_T

It will take at least a week from date of receipt to get an NOA1 so you should be getting one relatively soon. Some got theirs in a week, others took two or more weeks. It all depends on the speed of the center and amount of time it takes to receive mail from that location.

What i don't understand is how they pick and choose processing orders for certain files, is it divided up by country or region? I saw someone who sent their file in the same day as me but they already received an update and I am still waiting.

I just want to know my file is there and safe ready to go because it took a lot of time to get all the stuff together!!!((
