Hello friends, im new here and going through this process, im a little lost on all the time frames and terms, so not sure if I did it correct.

My fiance and I filed our k1 on Oct 2 2014, and used a lawyer, as we felt it would remove stress off us. However our papers were recieved October 6, 2014, at Texas. The ONLY info we have recieved thus far is a case number, and a cashed cheque. Not one other peep! I read alot on this board about texas being behind, but is this far behind normal?

Are others filers from Oct or earlier this far behind?

Thanks

I don't want to say it's normal but yes TSC is this far behind. TSC is finishing up July and is about 40% done with August. You still have a ways to go, unfortunately. There's another October TSC thread that is a lot more active than this one. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/523533-october-2014-filers-texas-service-center/page-23

I think they are about 60% in August. Today I go on every unapproved August profile. I come to 33 people who logged on at VJ at the last 3 month or have a valid profile. I think many people didn't update there timeline.... I hope our time is soon... day 146, now :(

I recently checked on a late August filer who recieved his NOA2 a couple of days ago and just today spoke to someone who filed on August 29th and got NOA2 yesterday. I know the October filers and specifically those who were sent to the TSC have been suffering as I am but this news gives me hope I am weeks away to NOA2 and not months. I filed on September 30th and got my NOA1 on October 3rd. My expectations are that TSC will be working on September filers soon and were finally next on the queu.

We are past 230 days since we sent our application. I have called USCIS and written to my Congressman and Senator...but nada 2. Just checked processing time and of the last fifteen approvals to the TSC, 11 were sent after my petition and to make matters worse California filers have already received their NOA1 for AOS and in less time that I am waiting for NOA2 of the K1. Meanwhile, illegals are getting work permits and ssn within weeks. The current administration preffers illegal immigration over legal immigration because of politics and American citizens are treated as second class citizens. I don't think I an be pleasant at an interview either at the Embassy or USCIS.
