Visa Interview Together

My wife's mom and dad are applying for a tourist visa to come to visit.

I would like for them to interview "together" - meaning they both go at the same time to stand in front of the Interviewing Officer and answer the questions together. I have seen this happen at the Embassy myself many years ago but also heard several people do this.

My question is how to do this logistically speaking. The website to fill out the DS160 application does not seem to allow joint applicants. Also I am unsure how to schedule an "joint" interview once the application fee has been paid and you are ready to schedule.

Am I missing something? Can someone please explain how to go at the same time for the interview?

Call NVC/USCIS and provide them with both your in-Laws case numbers and ask for a common date for interview...they will promptly act on your request..

Good Luck
