Does anyone know the eta of when the nvc sends case to the embassy once is done...also how fast after receiving the petition will the lagos embassy schedules the interview and how far out?

Well you have to wait after your case complete, for nvc to schedule you an appt at the consulate. I believe scheduling for November appts should begin tomorrow till the early weeks of October. October schedules are closed. It all depends on nvc.

Yes I understand that I have to wait till case closed. That's why I said when its done. I looked at the spread sheet that shows case complete to finish...what Im trying to find is how soon does the nvc ships the paperwork out to the embassy...are we talking a few days to a week, 2 weeks? I will look through the post for the answer Im just trying to answer my husbands question as soon as possible. thanks everyone!

After they schedule interview the petition usually goes out with a few days to weeks. I have known of many get there the day before.

Well the spreadsheet we don;t track that because it really isn't important when it gets there just that its there for the interview. Since the interviews are scheduled 30 days out at least.,

oh wait! They let you know the interview date before they send out the petition? I didn't know that. I thought they send it out and when the embassy gets it they schedule. wow! Thank you. So say my case is closed tomorrow (wishful thinking) is there a eta for when they inform you of your interview date? On the spread sheet I don't see a date when the interview date was inputted so I wasn't able to track when they got the news. Thank you so much. I thought I knew the process...sheesh.

cray cray is about right. My 60 days for reviewing the corrected information is 10/10 if they review around then...we are prob looking at an interview in December it seems. I hope no later than that but ill take what I can get.

Did you call NVC yesterday to see if you had a interview date? If not it is hard to say if you will get November there are alot of petitions for Lagos right now.

And our priority date s only 1 year ago many of those before u getting November filed early 2013 so do call Monday and see cuz the interview letter doesn't come until a week later they are reporting.

ok. thnks. Im ok with dec but nov would be a dream. At least lagos isn't backed up. im happy the case was completed a week early at least
