Copy of the Birth certificate (front and back) for the US Citizen or a copy of ALL pages of the US Citizen's passport issued with a validity of at least 5 years or

a copy of the US Citizen's naturalization certificate (front and back). This is used to establish citizenship.

You only need it to prove your citizenship, but since you were born in Bosnia you can't sent it. You have to submit a copy of your naturalization certificate or copy of US passport

Would do no good to send your birth certificate, for the USC that is used to prove you were born in the USA. Being you are a naturalized citizen you need to seen copy of that documentation or a copy of ALL pages of your passport.

My then-fiancé ( my now husband) and I have only met once during our courtship over 5 years online and talked over Skype most of times. I got approved for K-1 visa without the CO grilled on me after I told him than my fiancé was waiting outside the room. He came to Jakarta for my interview and it was made easy for me. So, I think you would be just fine. Good luck!
